Welcome! Thank you for visiting Rep My DNA. My name is Billy Gira, Founder and Chief Vision Officer.

This project began because I wanted to create a way for you and I to represent our heritage. My cultural background is Haitian-American, both of my parents were born and raised in Haiti and I was born in the United States. They arrived in the United States in their early 20’s. Living in the American culture, while having parents of another culture often made it difficult to find my place in the world. Growing up, I remember wanting to keep my heritage a secret because others would treat or think of me differently. Looking back, people from other cultures faced something similar. 

As the years went by a shift happened, I started to understand my culture. I realized that there is beauty in all our backgrounds which makes us unique. I was then excited to create a brand where people could boldly represent their uniqueness, and I believe Rep My DNA will allow you that opportunity.
